Face to Face Counselling In Perth
Work with me in Perth, Scotland
A space to slow down, understand what you’re going through, and reconnect with yourself.
Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or lost. Maybe you’re going through a difficult period of change, carrying something that has been difficult to process, or simply feeling that life doesn’t quite feel like it used to.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling. Sometimes you may simply know that something isn’t quite right, or that you’d like some space to understand yourself and what you’re going through.
I offer face-to-face counselling in Perth, where we can take the time to explore what’s happening for you in a confidential and supportive space.

What might bring you to counselling?
You might be looking for counselling because something doesn’t feel quite right, even if you can’t quite explain what it is.
Perhaps you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships or everyday life. Maybe you feel stuck, lost or disconnected from yourself, or you’re going through a period of change and aren’t sure what you want anymore.
You don’t necessarily need to arrive with a clear explanation or a particular diagnosis. Sometimes you simply know that the way things are doesn’t feel sustainable anymore, and you’d like some space to understand what’s happening.

Who might find counselling with me helpful?
Counselling might be helpful if you:
- feel overwhelmed by work, family or everyday life
- feel stuck, lost or disconnected from yourself
- are going through a significant life transition
- are questioning your identity, direction or what you want
- struggle with self-worth, self-doubt or pressure to meet expectations
- are experiencing difficulties in relationships or boundaries
- feel that the ways you usually cope aren’t working anymore
- want to understand yourself and your experiences more deeply
- tend to feel things deeply and find the demands of everyday life intense
What is counselling like?
Counselling gives you a dedicated space to slow down and pay attention to what’s happening beneath the surface.
Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, relationships and patterns, including things that may be difficult to put into words.
My approach is collaborative. I’m not there to tell you what you should do or give you a list of solutions. Instead, we’ll work together to understand what is happening for you and what might help you move forward.
Depending on what feels useful, our work might also include creative, reflective or mindful approaches.

“Ms. Chmelikova has been so supportive and understanding about my problems. She offers an open space where I feel free to share my experiences without worrying about any judgement. Definitely would recommend her!“

I’m Eva
I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor with an integrative and collaborative approach. I have experience working in private practice, EAP, schools and charitable settings, and I’ve worked with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, self-doubt, trauma, grief, life changes and existential questions.
I’m particularly interested in the things that sit beneath the surface of our experiences — and in creating a space where you don’t have to pretend that everything is okay.

A space away from everyday life
There can be something valuable about physically stepping away from your usual surroundings and having a dedicated space to talk.
Our sessions take place in a private counselling room in Perth, offering a quiet space where we can slow things down and focus on what is happening for you.
If you’re someone who finds it easier to talk face to face, or simply wants somewhere separate from home and work, in-person counselling might feel like a good fit.

Looking for a different way to do therapy?
Counselling doesn’t always have to happen sitting in a counselling room. I also offer Walk & Talk counselling in Perth, where we can explore what’s happening for you while walking outdoors.
This can be a good option if you find it easier to talk while moving, feel more comfortable side-by-side than face-to-face, or simply find being outdoors gives you more space to think.
